What am I all about?

Choosing the right photographer is such a crucial part of your wedding planning. You’ll be spending one of the most important and intimate days of your life with someone who starts off as practically a stranger, so it’s got to be the perfect fit! You don’t just need a photographer—you need someone you genuinely “click” with, who gets your vibe, and who can be right there with you through every moment, big or small. That’s why I wanted to share a bit about myself, what I do, and how I ended up here, doing what I love most. I believe in building that connection, so by the time your wedding day arrives, it’ll feel like I’m just another friend who’s there to capture all those real, raw, and beautiful moments.I’m more than just the person behind the camera—on the day, I’ll be your personal wingman. Need help wrangling family members for group photos? I’ve got you. Need a moment to breathe or laugh between the big moments? I’m there. I’m here to make sure everything goes smoothly and that you feel totally at ease, so you can enjoy every second. Plus, I’ve included a couple of photos of myself so you’ll know who to look out for when we meet. After all, this is all about connection, and I can’t wait to get to know you better!

Where

Based in Cornwall, I love the beauty of my local area and although I have my own studio, surrounded by fields, trees and my ever growing chicken, goat and alpaca collection, I love to travel, almost as much as I love photography. I work throughout the UK and I am only too happy to welcome worldwide enquiries (check out my photography bucket list in the blog) My favourite (and the most beautiful) places in the world are Denmark and Bali, give me the excuse to visit one of those places on a photography trip and I am there! Although Cornwall is most definitely home.

What

I’m all about the stunning outdoors here in Cornwall—whether it’s capturing moments on a windswept beach, among the rugged cliffs, or in the heart of a wild moorland. Give me a wedding by the sea, in a hidden forest glade, or at a charming Cornish venue, and I’m your photographer. I’ve even got a passport ready if you fancy taking things abroad!I love shooting for couples who break the mold— do things their way! From tattooed brides in lace gowns and grooms rocking beards and dapper tweed to fresh, fragrant bouquets filled with unique blooms and weddings that scream individuality and style. Bring on the romance, the bold choices, and the raw emotion. You’ll probably find me laughing with you, soaking up the joy of your day, and capturing every unforgettable moment.

The journey

I get it—I hate having my photo taken too! So, when you tell me you’re camera-shy, trust me, I totally understand. You can probably tell from those awkward photos up there, right? But that’s part of what makes me so determined to make sure you feel comfortable in front of the lens. I’m stubborn like that—if I set out to do something, it’s getting done, no question! I’ve always been drawn to the roads less traveled, to people who do things differently. I’ll take the unusual over the mainstream any day. And I’m not just someone who picked up a camera on a whim—this is my craft, and I’ve spent years honing my skill and developing my unique style. I hold a BA Hons degree in Photography from the University of Essex, a Master’s in Photography from Falmouth University, and I’ve earned the ARPS distinction from the Royal Photographic Society. But beyond all that, photography is my passion—it’s the thing that lights me up and gets me excited about every new shoot. If you’re thinking about booking me, I’d love to meet up for a consultation first. I always encourage it, because getting to know my couples is key. It helps me understand what you’re all about, and just as important, it helps you feel at ease with me. After all, we’re going to be spending a lot of time together on your big day, and it’s important you feel comfortable with me. Whatever your vision is, especially if it’s something completely out there or wonderfully unique, I’m all in! Let’s make it happen.
