Cornwall Wedding Photographer | Natural Documentary Storytelling

My Approach to Wedding Photography

I photograph weddings in a natural, documentary style, following the day as it unfolds, without directing or posing. I want you to forget I’m there and just live your day, while I quietly capture every stolen glance, tear, and burst of laughter.

What’s Included With Every Wedding

All Cornwall wedding packages include full-resolution, professionally edited images delivered via an online gallery, a pre-wedding consultation to get to know you, and a heartfelt, unobtrusive approach on the day. No awkward poses, no rushed group shots, just real photography.

Cornwall Wedding Venues I Love

From windswept clifftops at Gunwalloe and Kynance Cove to Trevenna Castle and the rustic charm of Nancarrow Farm, Cornwall offers some of the most breathtaking wedding settings in the UK. I’m deeply familiar with the light, the locations, and the hidden corners that make Cornish weddings so special.

Wedding Photography in Cornwall

Real, romantic, unposed wedding photography across Cornwall and the South West. Documentary at heart, beautifully storytelling — for couples who want their day to feel like theirs.

I'm a Cornwall wedding photographer, and there's nothing I love more than telling the story of a wedding day. Not the staged, posed, awkward version — the real one. The pre-ceremony nerves and laughter, the half-whispered vows, the dad-of-the-bride trying not to cry, the dog stealing the limelight, the dance floor at midnight when no one cares anymore and everyone's shoes are off.

That's the day I'm here to photograph for you. Real, romantic, beautifully unposed.

Cornwall and the South West, mostly

I'm based in Cornwall and most of my weddings happen here — but I travel happily across Devon, Somerset, Dorset and Dartmoor too. The South West is in my bones, and I never get tired of it. Cliff-top elopements, country house celebrations, barn weddings, village halls, churches that have been there for a thousand years, gardens absolutely full of flowers — wherever you're saying "I do", I'd love to be there.

Some of the venues I've photographed

Coastal: St Winwaloe's at Gunwalloe (the Church of the Storms — and yes, it's as dramatic as it sounds), Tregenna Castle in St Ives.

Country houses, manors and gardens: Tredudwell Manor, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Pengersick Castle.

Barns, farms and the relaxed and rustic: Frieda and the Moon, Duckaller Farm, St Andrew's Church Kenn.

Churches: St Petroc's in Padstow, St Wendrona's in Wendron, St Winwaloe's in Gunwalloe.

Got a venue that isn't on this list? Even better. I love a new place, and Cornwall hides some absolute gems.

Elopements, micro-weddings and the small but perfect

Cornwall is one of the most magical places in the country to elope. A handful of your favourite people, a clifftop or a tiny chapel, a glass of something cold, the sea doing its thing in the background — and a love story you'll remember for the rest of your lives. If that's your kind of wedding, I'm absolutely your photographer.

Whoever you love, however you love

Cornwall weddings come in every shape, and so do the people getting married. Brides and grooms, two brides, two grooms, partners and people of every gender — you're all welcome here, and your love story will be told the same way: honestly, beautifully, and entirely on your terms.

How I work

Mostly, I disappear into the day. I'm there with my camera, watching, waiting, catching the moments you didn't even know were happening. I'll pull you aside for a few couple portraits when the light's good — usually a quick wander somewhere lovely, just the two of you, no cheesy poses, just you in your wedding clothes looking like you're madly in love (because you are). And then I'm back in the crowd, photographing the people who matter most to you doing the things they always do.
