There’s something incredibly special about a wedding that leans into the wild romance of a Cornish summer. Kitty and Luke’s wedding at the Parish Church of St Winwaloe was exactly that — full of heart, sea air, and a little mizzle thrown in for good measure. Because let’s be honest, if you’re getting married in Cornwall, the weather brings its own personality to the party. And honestly? It only added to the charm. Kitty looked absolutely breathtaking in a fitted dress that hugged her beautifully. But can we just pause for a moment… and take in that train? She’d adapted the gown herself, and the result was just sublime. Elegant, dramatic, and completely her. There’s always a moment when the bride walks in and time sort of stops — that was Kitty. Luke didn’t disappoint either, pulling off his tux with effortless style. Classic, clean and totally dashing. Together, they were magic. And the church itself — tucked into the landscape like it’s been waiting centuries just for this moment — gave the perfect backdrop for their vows. Now, I’m always here for couples who want to make the most of their surroundings, and when Kitty and Luke said they wanted beach portraits? […]
Read MoreTorbay Registry Office & Duckaller Barn Reception | Sneak Peek Some weddings feel like they’re lifted straight from the pages of a nove, and Lucy and Lee’s was every bit the Regency daydream I didn’t know I needed. The day began at Torbay Registry Office, which wouldn’t have looked out of place in a Jane Austen adaptation- grand, elegant, and steeped in timeless charm. But it was Lucy who stole the show from the very first moment she appeared: radiant in a stunning gown, topped with a sheer veil embroidered with wildflowers that danced behind her in the breeze. The flowers in her hair were a perfect echo of the veil… and then, something I’d never seen before, a delicate seashell tucked amongst the blooms. Never have I ever had a bride with a shell in her hair, but Lucy fixed that in the best way. Lee, ever so slightly camera shy at first, wore a soft pale blue suit that perfectly matched the easy warmth of the day. It didn’t take long before he relaxed into it all – especially with Lucy by his side. The way they looked at each other? This wasn’t new love, it was the […]
Read MoreSunday brought the kind of magic you can’t plan for—just feel. Kerry and Damon were married under wide Cornish skies at the ever-beautiful Tregenna Castle in St Ives, surrounded by love, laughter, and a gorgeous breeze (the good kind—the kind that makes dresses dance). Their ceremony was held outdoors, with the sea visible in the distance and the breeze whispering through the trees. There was a relaxed, barefoot grace to the day—no stiff poses, just warmth and connection. Kerry was luminous, her hair tousled by the elements, her smile fixed on Damon. He looked at her the way you want to be looked at for the rest of your life. There was laughter, a few happy tears, and that almost surreal feeling that you’re living a day you’ll replay in your mind forever. And then… the sea. These two didn’t just say “I do” and pose for portraits—they ran into the ocean. Still dressed in wedding gear, they waded into the waves with joy and total abandon. I couldn’t resist. I followed them, camera in hand and heart wide open, because some stories are better told soaking wet and barefoot. There’s something wildly romantic about ending your wedding day in the water, like you’re […]

Read MoreI had the honour of photographing Sophie and Maddie getting married at the White Hart, in Great Yeldham. A truly magical day, surrounded by love and beauty where even the rain couldn’t dampen the spirit of the two brides, and a ceremony filled with all kinds of beautiful details. The brides wore stunning vintage-style dresses with added contemporary touches, giving the looks an elegant and unique feel. Tarot cards marked the details of the ceremony, such as writing their vows on tarot cards from a reading the previous evening, to the exchange of rings, and the brides’ triumphant “I do’s.” Dried flowers added charm and delicacy to the scenery, and the result was simply breathtaking. Despite the wet weather, the overall atmosphere was truly magical and the level of love and happiness in the air was palpable. It was an honour to be able to be part of their special day, and to capture their beautiful memories. The White Hart provided the perfect setting for their unique, one-of-a-kind day, and I hope I did justice to the beautiful brides and their love for one another. Some hard dancing followed a day filled with laughs, love and more than one tear! […]
