Kitty & Luke’s Dreamy Cornish Wedding at St Winwaloe

There’s something incredibly special about a wedding that leans into the wild romance of a Cornish summer. Kitty and Luke’s wedding at the Parish Church of St Winwaloe was exactly that — full of heart, sea air, and a little mizzle thrown in for good measure. Because let’s be honest, if you’re getting married in Cornwall, the weather brings its own personality to the party. And honestly? It only added to the charm.
Kitty looked absolutely breathtaking in a fitted dress that hugged her beautifully. But can we just pause for a moment… and take in that train? She’d adapted the gown herself, and the result was just sublime. Elegant, dramatic, and completely her. There’s always a moment when the bride walks in and time sort of stops — that was Kitty.
Luke didn’t disappoint either, pulling off his tux with effortless style. Classic, clean and totally dashing. Together, they were magic. And the church itself — tucked into the landscape like it’s been waiting centuries just for this moment — gave the perfect backdrop for their vows.
Now, I’m always here for couples who want to make the most of their surroundings, and when Kitty and Luke said they wanted beach portraits? Well, say no more! It was a dream. We headed down to the sand between showers, sea breeze in our hair, and laughter filling the air. There’s just something about a couple standing barefoot in love, against a moody Cornish sky, that feels timeless.
The celebration continued just a few steps away at the local village hall, perched right on the beach. Cosy, authentic and full of cheer. Between spells of drizzle, we nipped out for some joyful, windswept family portraits, with the sea and cliffs behind us doing what they do best — being utterly cinematic.
And their first dance? Let me tell you — it was the best. They’d been secretly practicing their choreographed routine for months, and it absolutely paid off. It wasn’t just a dance, it was a moment. Fun, full of flair and so perfectly them. The energy in the room lifted and never came back down — the start of a night full of dancing, hugs, and proper celebration.
Kitty and Luke, thank you for inviting me in to capture your love story. From the sea mist to the sparkle in your steps, every moment was a joy. Here’s to a lifetime of adventures that are just as wild and wonderful.
